Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, who was born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is one of the wealthiest and most well-known comic. She appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comedian. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea began her career as a stand-up comic in the year 2011. In 2012, she was frequently being featured on sketch comedy programs as well as sitcoms. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for different panel shows, where she was a frequent guest. In 2016 and 2017, she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. Bea is her name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life when Bea was only three years old, though she did not know how he died until she was thirteen. Her stage name Bea was a tribute for her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences with suicide. Bea (and her sister Sinead) was raised within the home of Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Her family were in love with horses and race meetings. As a young girl, Bea employed as an instructor for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young stage that she was not keen on the sport of racing for a profession, but instead enjoyed performing.
